This is my first Christmas card of the season! It’s July and, as card makers, that’s the time we start thinking about Christmas cards. We want to have time to make our cards without being rushed. And we like to plan! So here’s a card made from a fabulous new Bundle that can fit all your holiday needs.
The great thing about this Bundle, in my opinion, is the hybrid embossing folder. It’s an embossing folder that you can use alone, in the standard way, or you can add a special die that’s made to fit inside of it. Then it both cuts and embosses at the same time – how cool is that?
You can see how amazing it is in the close up photo below. See how the holly leaves are cut to pop up, and they are also embossed? I think it’s so pretty and different!
Below is a video tutorial that shows you how to make this card and how the hybrid embossing folder works. In it I make two different cards, and both are wonderful options for your holiday cards!
The die set has two different sizes of labels and both fit inside the holly leaves as you see below. They make this set really versatile.
The front of the card is Granny Apple Green cardstock and the holly berries were colored with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker. I think that really bring them to life. This is such a great Bundle for the holidays!
