Today’s card is pink! My favorite color – yippee! I’ve been saving (hoarding?) the Pretty in Pink gingham sheet from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper. Isn’t it darling? And for this card I’m using Pretty in Pink and Basic White cardstock so everything coordinates perfectly.

So how does the fun fold work? Watch the video tutorial below to find out and to get all the measurements:

The Pretty in Pink panel lifts up to open the card. It’s embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and on top of this panel is a Basic White frame cut with the Gallery Blooms Dies.

Now the fun – decorate the frame! The Gallery Bloom flowers were colored with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. And the lacy fern leaves behind the flowers were cut from a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock that was colored with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Be sure to watch the video above to see this technique 🙂

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!

I watched your video and love your card, it is so beautiful! You said the measurement for the Pretty in Pink embossed piece was incorrect and it would up being too short for the card. Would you please tell me the correct measurement for the pink cardstock on the front of the card? I would appreciate that very much!
I love the way you colored first on the cardstock before cutting out the leaves..
Thank you so much!
