Today’s card is made with some lovely colors: Pool Party, Darling Duckling, and Poppy Parade. I would never think these colors would look so good together. I’m using them because they are the colors in this week’s Global Design Color Challenge!

The card base is created with Pool Party cardstock, and a 1-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ strip of Darling Duckling cardstock was placed across the center front. Then the background for the main design is a Darling Duckling sheet of 2025-2027 In Color Designer Series Paper. The word “lovely” was cut from Poppy Parade cardstock using the Sweet Blooms Dies.

The flower from the Love & Strength Stamp Set was stamped with Crumb Cake ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I watercolored the flower with Poppy Parade ink and a bit of Early Espresso ink in the center. The leaves of the flower were watercolored with Darling Duckling ink.

There are more leaves surrounding the flower. Those were cut with a die from the Thankful Garden Dies and watercolored with Darling Duckling and Poppy Parade ink. Some Darling Duckling Faux Linen Ribbon was cut in half lengthwise, tied in a little bow, and placed at the base of the leaves. And a few Shades of Green Hexagons were added about for bling. (I think these gems are actually Pool Party!)

All of the Darling Duckling items you see on today’s card are ON SALE! Yippee! This is a great time to stock up on these beautiful colors!

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
