A Spooky Card!

Today’s card shows a different way to use the Sweet & Spooky Kit. I love this Kit that makes adorable treat boxes for Halloween, but wanted to use some of the elements to create a card.

The Global Design Project Challenge for this week is “spooky” so this works perfectly! When I saw the theme of the challenge I immediately thought of this Kit!

The card base is Bubble Bath cardstock cut 5-1/2″ x 6-1/4″ and scored at 4-1/4.” A piece of Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper was adhered to the front top flap. The black and orange strips from the Kit were adhered on a separate scrap of cardstock and then wrapped with Timid Tiger ribbon and adhered to the flap.

Some Fresh Freesia leaves were sponged with Petunia Pop ink and layered under the bow, along with the sentiment from the Kit. Some striped tags from the Kit were adhered to the lower inside of the card, and a few cute pumpkins were attached, along with some tiny “spooky” ghosts from the Kit.

This is a cute spooky card and it just makes me smile. Feel free to use contents of kits to create other projects! It’s fun!
