Valley in Bloom Birthday - and - Extravaganza Starts Today!

Oh my goodness, it’s so much fun to play with new catalog goodies! Today’s card uses the absolutely gorgeous Valley in Bloom Suite Collection!

The Designer Series Paper in this Suite is some of the prettiest ever. The coordinating Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder has deep, floral images, and it’s been used here to emboss a scalloped circle cut with the new Scalloped Blooms Dies. To further bring out all of the blossoms from the die, I did some blending with Fresh Freesia ink and a Blending Brush.

The design for this card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project Sketch Challenge. I turned the design a bit because I wanted the gorgeous paper to show!

I seriously love the way this card turned out. But it’s the products! There’s so much to love in the new Catalog, and this Valley in Bloom Suite Collection has to be one of my favorites!
