Today’s card is a sneak peek of the new Online Exclusive, the Pretty Poinsettia Die Set, available on July 1st. As you know, poinsettias are for the holidays. But I think this flower looks lovely any time of year, especially when made in non-holiday colors. These flowers were cut from Barely Blush cardstock and sponged with a bit of Timid Tiger ink.

These dies are special, in that you use them with the new Impressions Plate. You run them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine twice, once to cut, and then a second time with the Impressions Plate to add the deeper impressions. Both the flowers and the leaves used the Impressions Plate.

The colors for this card are based on this week’s Global Design Project Color Challenge. They are so pretty together!

I used a fun ribbon technique here. I’m not sure what it’s called, but you lay out a strip of Tear & Tape, remove the top paper layer, and then loop ribbon along the strip. Just for fun, I tied a little white Baker’s Twine bow on the last loop of the ribbon 🙂

The All Aflutter Bundle was used for the little butterflies and the sentiment. This is such a great Bundle. You can pop butterflies on any card!
