Frightfully Fun Magical Kitties Card!

Are these kitties cute or what? I think they’re darling! Today’s card is made using the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper and a few other items from the Frightfully Fun Suite Collection.

One sheet of this Designer Series Paper is covered with different colored kitties in lots of different poses. For this card I cut out three kitties having fun 🙂

The design of today’s card is from the Global Design Project Challenge for this week:

The left side of this card is cut from another sheet of the Designer Series Paper, and the right side is a piece of Darling Duckling cardstock embossed with the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder. I actually made two different cards, each a little different. After I made the card above, I wanted the embossed side to have a bit more color, so I used a Small Blending Brush to brush some Timid Tiger ink over it. You see that on the card below.

On the first card, I fussy cut the kitties from the paper. And because I know some of you don’t prefer to fussy cut, I created a second card where I punched one kitty out with a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. Both look good, I think.

The black ribbon tied around the center square is one of my new favorites! It’s Black Iridescent Ribbon and when you see it in person, it’s so sparkly!

For a sentiment, I used a simple blocked “hello” from the Help Me Grow Stamp Set, but you could use anything…happy birthday, thank you, anything. The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea ink across a 1/2″ wide strip of Darling Duckling cardstock.

This card demonstrates that you can use just Designer Series Paper to create a themed card. That’s what I did here.
