Today I have a simple card design that’s easy to make and oh so cute! I love the new Happy Tails Bundle that I used on these cards.

It’s the cutest dog stamp set, and it comes with a dog punch. (Don’t you love punches??) And that’s one of the things that makes these cards so EASY!!

This card is simple because all you need to create it is the Happy Tails Bundle and a few colors of card stock and ink. You could actually use only one ink color! Stamp the cute little dog on a piece of Whisper White card stock (I used Crumb Cake ink). Then using Blueberry Bushel ink, stamp the collar on his neck. You could even leave this step out to make the card even easier. Punch the dog out with the coordinating punch, which also just happens to punch a heart!

Starting with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Whisper White card base (scored at 4-14″), stamp a 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the sentiment using Early Espresso ink. Adhere this piece on the left front of the card base as shown, using Tombow Multipurpose Glue. Adhere a 3″ x 2″ piece of colored card stock (here I used Melon Mambo for one card and Blueberry Bushel for the other) using Stampin’ Dimensionals, overlapping the Crumb Cake piece as shown . Adhere the punched dog with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as well as the little heart. The heart can also be glued on with a dot of glue. And you are done! Quick and easy!

And because this post is about dogs, I have to show you a few pictures of my sweet girl, Elie. She’s a 5 year old Yorkshire Terrier and to say she is loved is a big understatement! She likes to go with me when I get my nails done, and in the one photo below she’s leaning up on the towel wanting to have her nails painted – if we can find them!!! (heart, heart)

Do you have a dog? I’d love to hear about your animals!! Please leave me a comment 🙂
Thanks for stopping by today!

Very cute card, Peggy! I had to get this Happy Tails bundle because it was so much like Skippy, our pointer mix. Another simple idea with this Punch is using black card stock to make a black lab… very effective! Thanks for sharing this CAS card with us. Your Elie is precious! ❤️
Thank you so much for this idea and your others. but especially this one we have a farm pet store and I am trying to make cards for my customers but have not bin able to come up with a simple inexpensive one, since I have to make so many, and this is awesome!!!!
By the way Ellie is so cute. My one girlfriend is looking for a yorkie.
