This card is so fun and so cute, I just LOVE it!! This little bird is called a “chirpydoodle” and I cased this card from another demonstrator, Karen Titus.
This adorable little bird is created with one 2-3/8″ punched circle. You can use any size circle punch you like, but this is the one I chose. The designer series paper is the Joy of Christmas paper. Fold the circle, but not exactly in half. You want a bit of the underside to show as you see above.
Adhere the folded circle to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then draw the long legs and feet with a Basic Black Stampin’ Blend. Cut a little triangle for the beak and adhere it to the circle with the glue as shown. Punch a little heart using the Country Bouquet Punch and adhere it to the circle as a tail.
The sentiment is from the Ringed With Nature Stamp Set and is stamped with Real Red ink. You can use this bird for any occasion and add any sentiment you like. It’s such a versatile and flexible card. You can even make a family of birds! Don’t you love it??
