Wreaths are one of my favorite things. I love to hang wreaths on my doors and above my fireplace mantle. I even have a wreath on the door to my craft room! The Wreath Builder Dies are classic. There are 21 dies in this fabulous set and they are calling out to be used on our holiday cards!

Today’s card is a “no stamp” card 🙂 It’s made using dies and an embossing folder. That just shows you what fabulous dies Stampin’ Up! has. Here’s a video tutorial showing you how to make this card.

NEW VIDEO: Vellum Poinsettia Z-Fold Card!

#poinsettia #zfoldcard #poinsettiapetals #stampinup #peggynoe #prettypapercards

Today’s card is a fun Z-Fold Card that uses the Poinsettia Petals Bundle and the elegant Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. It’s an over-the-top holiday card that anyone would love to receive. I’ve made a video to show you just how to make it!

The key to this card is the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. Did you know that the paper is made to be used with the Poinsettia Dies? You can cut out leaves and flowers of the paper using the dies! Isn’t that cool? Of course you can leave the plush flowers white which is very pretty, but just for fun I’ve colored the plush areas of the paper with Stampin’ Blends to make them pop!

The card base is 4-1/4″ x 11″ and is scored at 2″ and 5-1/2. The beautiful Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper is used on most of the panels.

This is such a fun card to make! Below is an alternate look using the Flowers for Every Season 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper, and the poinsettias are colored with Daffodil Delight and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends.

VIDEO: Quick and Easy Evergreen Forest Holiday Card!

Evergreen Brass Dove Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

This is what the spectacular Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder can do ~ isn’t it gorgeous? Using this folder on metallic cardstock creates an instant card, there’s not much else you need to do! For today’s cards I’ve used some of the new Brushed Metallic cardstock to show off the folder. The card shown above uses the bronze cardstock.

Evergreen Forest Peace Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

I’ve also used the gold metallic cardstock, can you tell which is which? Gold, brass and copper (2 sheets of each) come in one package of Brushed Metallic card stock ~ wow!

The Evergreen Forest folder creates such deep embossing of the trees that’s what makes it look so realistic. To do this embossing, of course I used the brand new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine!! As a reminder, this machine will be available to customers on September 1st, but as a demonstrator I was able to preorder it to show YOU!! To see how to make today’s card and how to use the new machine, watch the replay of my Friday Facebook Live below.

Pretty Peacock such a deep strong green. It’s perfect for the holidays and goes so well with the brushed metallic cardstock. On this card it’s used as the card base and Pretty Peacock ink was used to stamp the dove and the sentiment.

The Dove of Peace Bundle is one of my favorites. The smaller dove and the word “Peace” are just the right size to show off the beauty of the embossing folder.

Pretty Poinsettia Petals!

Poinsettia Petals Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

The Poinsettia Place Suite is one of my top 5 favorites in the new Stampin’ Up! August – December 2020 Mini Catalog. Today’s card is another of – many – ways this fabulous suite can be used!

Poinsettia Petals Card Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

Begin with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White card stock base scored at 4-1/4.” Adhere a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Poppy Parade card stock using Multipurpose Glue. Using a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp a few sprigs of berries in the upper left corner using Garden Green ink. Color the berries with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. Using the stamp with just the berries, stamp arbitrarily around the rest of the piece with Poppy Parade ink, first stamping off once each time. Adhere this piece to the card using Multipurpose Glue.

Poinsettia Petals Card Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

For this card the poinsettia was cut from Poppy Parade card stock using the three flower layers from the Poinsettia Dies, including the inserts with the veins. After die cutting the flowers, curl the petals under using a bone folder. Then delicately “paint” the veins on each petal using Frost White Shimmer Paint and a Blender Pen. Let dry and then assemble the flower – adding an additional Whisper White small flower – using Multipurpose Glue. Place a Silver Metallic Pearl. Adhere the flower in the to top left corner of the card using a Stampin’ Dimensional. Stamp the leaves on a scrap of Whisper White card stock in Garden Green ink, cut with the dies, and tuck in under the flower, adhering with Multipurpose Glue.

Punch a piece of Garden Green card stock with the Label Me Fancy Punch. Stamp a small 3/4″ x 2″ piece of Whisper White card stock with the Happy Holidays stamp using Poppy Parade ink. Using Paper Snips, flag the ends close to the sentiment as shown. Adhere the sentiment strip to the punched piece using Multipurpose Glue. Adhere the entire thing to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sneak Peek: Poinsettia Place Suite!

Poinsettia Place Card Peggy Noe

Sneak peek, sneak peek!! The Poinsettia Place Suite is my favorite in the new Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalog! It’s gorgeous!

Poinsettia Place Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

For today’s card, I’ve actually only used the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper to create the majority of the card. The beautiful white poinsettias were fussy cut (with my Paper Snips) from a piece of the paper. I cut out three so that I could arrange them on the front of the card.

Poinsettia Place Suite Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

On the Very Vanilla card stock base I glued a 1-1/2″ piece of Red Foil on the left, and a 3-3/4″ piece of the designer series paper on the right. Two of the fussy cut poinsettias are glued to the card base and one is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Beaded Pearls were placed in the center of each poinsettia, and for the finale, a Real Red Sheer Ribbon bow was adhered on the side.
