We knew this month’s Paper Pumpkin would be special because Stampin’ Up!’s Sara Douglass designed it, AND, it has a FREE gift inside. So, I was excited to see it in my mailbox today 🙂
I opened that box and started playing right away! All of these cards I’m showing you today were designed by me and are alternatives (stepped up versions) of the cards shown in the kit. For the one above, I watercolored the black and white striped paper to give it a new look. I used one of the pink sparkly embellishments popped up on a dimensional above a cluster of the leaf stickers.
What is the free gift? Some mini watercolor pencils! Whee! You will love them! For this card I watercolored the one panel and stamped some black dots on the dried panel. The stamps shown here all come in the kit!
Here’s the video about the kit from Sara:

Hi Friends! Happy Monday! Here’s a pretty burlap bouquet to start off your week! It’s made with some goodies from the October Paper Pumpkin, can you guess what those items are?
The little burlap bag was cut in half, then lined with the Tangelo Twist sequin trim. The clothespin and the “sweet” stamp ~ all of these items are from this month’s Paper Pumpkin! Lots of fun stuff in there!
The Pansy Punch and the Petite Petals Punch made quick work of the bouquet, with a single sequin in the centers. I scrunched up the Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist card stock after punching and then pulled the petals forward with my bone folder.
