This light subtle card was created with the color palette from this week’s Global Design Project Challenge. You can see the pretty colors below.
The background of this card was watercolored with the three colors layered from bottom to top. They just give a soft blended background for the layered card stock pieces.
This is the first time I’ve used the Beauty Abounds Bundle and it is SO pretty! The butterfly dies are truly beautiful. For this card I used one of the butterflies and the stem die (I’m not really sure what to call this die, what would you call it?). Anyway, they gorgeous? And I had to sneak in a heart frame from the Be Mine Heart Framelits 🙂 Did you have a chance to see my video about the Be Mine Framelits? I’ll post it below in case you didn’t see it.
You can use these hearts anywhere!! Here I’ve used a Whisper White heart frame behind the butterfly. I love the way the bright white looks against the watercolored background 🙂

Peggy’s Pointer: Heat emboss your sentiment on a strip of vellum. This allows the beauty of the card to show through and blends easily with your color theme!

Product List

Your card is just beautiful. My first choice of a Sale-a-bration item was the beautiful ribbon. It is really nice and easy to work with too.
Thank you Kay! I agree, that pastel ribbon is gorgeous!
Another beautiful card, Peggy, in a color scheme than different than usual… but just as lovely. The watercolor background softly frames the pretty focal point… very nicely done!
My favorite SAB product is the stamp set with friendship verses… second choice, butterfly DSP. Thanks for asking.
Hope you have a blessed day! ❤️
Thanks Patricia! Yes, those verses are so nice. And the butterfly paper…yes! And I love that these items are FREE!!
Beautiful card! I love your background, so light and delicate. Just perfect for the the other elements! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Bette! It was fun to play with this color combo!
A Super-Awesome card, Peggy!!!!!
