Stampin' Up! Meant to Be Treat Holders - Peggy Noe - stampinup

It’s so much fun to give little gifts on Valentine’s Day! If you will be seeing a friend you can take one, if you go to the bank you can take one, you can give one to co-workers, a teacher or a grandchild! I’m hoping to have several on hand to take with me during Valentine’s week! 🙂

For this cutie, I made a little open gift bag by first running some Lovely Lipstick card stock through the Big Shot with the Lace Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder. I just love the lace texture! Then I created the bag by scoring that card stock on the Simply Scored Score Board. I’ll have the pattern and measurements for you tomorrow in my video! The top of the bag is trimmed with a 1/2″ strip of All My Love Designer Series Paper, and the front is decorated with some hearts cut using the Be Mine Framelits Dies.

After the bag is filled with treats (I used traditional candy hearts), a fun tag on a stick was inserted into the candy! The tag is super simple to make by stamping a sentiment on Whisper White card stock and punching it with a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch. Then a background circle was punched out of Lovely Lipstick card stock using the 2″ Starburst Punch and attached to the sentiment piece. A wooden skewer stick cut in half was used to hold the circle sentiment.
