Today’s card uses two of my favorite Stampin’ Up! colors, Mint Macaron and Highland Heather (It’s really a lovely lavender, don’t you think?). These are such pretty spring colors ~ just right for a sweet card for a friend!

The thing that really sets this card off is the Basket Weave Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It’s dramatic and makes a strong impression…especially in the spring…flower baskets, spring baskets, egg baskets…
The wreath and bow were created using the Wishing You Well stamp set. The wreath was cut out using two of the Layering Circle Framelits, one for the outside of the wreath and one for the inside. The bow was fussy cut using my trusty Paper Snips 🙂 Both were adhered to the basket weave piece using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The word “friend” was cut with one of the Well Written Framelits Dies using Highland Heather card stock, and attached to the wreath with tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

This card could be used for any type of occasion: birthday, thinking of you, hello, just anything! I like to have several cards like this on hand to send out when I need them.

Did you see my stamping space with the new Storage by Stampin’ Up!? Here’s how the remodel looks 🙂 These trays are amazing ~ they fit the Stampin’ Blends and the Ink Pads and Markers perfectly! You’ve got to try them!

Thank you for stopping by today, and happy stamping!
