Floral Essence is one of my FAVORITE stamp sets in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog! This is a stamp set that I received at the On Stage conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I couldn’t wait to come home and play!
When I was in Charlotte I received the new catalog. I looked at some of the sample cards for this stamp set in the catalog and created my card using a few of their ideas!
One of the stamps in the set is an outline stamp. I used this on the top panel and then lightly sponged the center of each flower. Then I stamped the leaf stamp around the flowers and colored in the leaves with the Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.
I stamped the solid flower in Gorgeous Grape ink and colored in the flower center with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. The leaves were punched out of Granny Apple Green card stock using the Leaf Punch, and tucked in around the flower and glued down with the Tombow Multipurpose Glue.

I saw this pretty card on a Facebook yesterday… it looks like a “Peggy Card!” Very nicely done! You can’t go wrong with purple… my Mom’s favorite color. Her purple iris are blooming in my garden this week… a sweet reminder of her love. ❤️
