This past weekend I hosted an Early Summer Tea Party & Cards. We had a traditional English Tea and then went into the craft room and made some cards using the Tea Together stamp set and coordinating dies. We had SO much fun!!
Each person received a favor in their teacup ~ a little box made from Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper and the Perfect Parcel Dies. The box was tied with some Linen Scalloped Ribbon in Rococo Rose.
This was a fun card to make. It’s a bit different in that it has a flap on the right side. The teapot looks like it’s pouring tea into the cup. And the flap with the teapot closes by tucking it under the handle of the teacup (see the first photo)! 🙂
The sentiment used here is from the Very Versailles stamp set. I really like it because it can be a general sentiment or a birthday sentiment. That makes the card more versatile and you can have it ready for several types of occasions! You can write on the inside of the card, under the flap.
