Today’s card was created completely from scraps I had in my scrap tin – it’s true! And I’ve made a fun spontaneous video showing you my scrap tin and how I made the card. So if you’re ready to have a few laughs and learn how you can create a card from YOUR own scraps, watch this video!
Here’s a close up picture of my scrap tin. What do you keep your scraps in? I’d love to know 🙂

The Butterfly Wishes stamp set is the one used on today’s card. It’s so versatile.
The envelope for today’s card was decorated with some of the same washi tape used on the card. Just run it along the left side of the envelope as I did below.

Pretty Pointer: Add a bit of coordinating ribbon to any card to take it from ok to wow! This card would be “ok” without the ribbon, but when you add that additional color from the ribbon, it goes to “wow”!

I’d sure love to see what you create from your scraps! Remember to send a picture to me at peggy@prettypapercards.com. If I get several photos I’ll post them so everyone can be inspired!

What a great card and yes, ADD ribbon! Thanks for sharing your WOW card!
I love ideas on how to use scraps, and this card is a beauty! ❤️
I am liking the Pretty Peacock with the daffodil delight. Lovely card Peggy.
I have two 6 “wire bin” rolling storage carts from Michaels. I sort my scraps by color: shades of pink/red, black, white, greens, blues, cream, browns (including oranges & yellows) purples. I hate tossing any paper BUT about once a year i have to purge the bins, keeping ever 1” square of paper just gets outta hand after a while. When the scraps are from DSP i just choose a color in it that seems more dominant to me or use another bin for miscellaneous scraps. Hope this helps.
Really pretty card!
