There are so many uses for the Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder! First of all, it’s downright gorgeous just as it is. Emboss anything, any color of card stock, I’m even thinking about foil (I’ll have to try that!), and that’s all you need because the folder just stands alone in artistic beauty. But add coloring to the embossed piece, and you take it over the top to a new level!!

The card base on this card is a piece of Petal Pink card stock cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4.” Then, using the Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder, and the new 3D Embossing Folder Plate, emboss a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White card stock. Color the embossed piece using Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers as shown. For this card I also did a bit of sponging using Petal Pink ink and a Sponge Dauber.

In the left corner under the sentiment I’ve placed a darling piece of Whisper White card stock that’s been cut with a floral die from the Perfect Parcel Dies.

Then the sentiment “Enjoy Today” from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink on a scrap piece of Basic Black card stock and embossed with Whisper White Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool. A few of the Petal Pink Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins were scattered around for a little bling 🙂

The entire suite of Magnolia Lane products is out-of-control gorgeous! I love every single item, and this embossing folder is one of my favorites.
Don’t forget: when you use the newer Stampin’ Up! 3D embossing folders, you need to also use the new 3D Embossing Folder Plate. It gives just the right thickness in your Big Shot “sandwich” to create the 3D effect.
