Today’s card is a fun, multi-layered card that is great for any winter occasion. It uses the First Frost stamp set – one of my very favorites!
The colors on this card are luscious and soft…Seaside Spray, Whisper White, and Soft Sea Foam, with a bit of Vellum ~ a beautiful wintery combination!
The base of the card is Whisper White card stock. The next layer, moving up, is Seaside Spray card stock which has been distressed on all sides (use your fingernail or edge of your scissors). Then there is a piece of Vellum that has been embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.
A narrow piece of Whisper White card stock has been embossed with a combination of White Embossing Paste, Seaside Spray ink, and some Ice Stampin’ Glitter. All three of these were mixed together and then applied to the card stock over a polka dot Basic Pattern Decorative Mask. These masks are such fun to use and add an interesting element to your cards 🙂 That layer is tucked under another piece of Whisper White card stock that has been stamped in Soft Sea Foam ink using some of the leaf stamps in the set.
The gorgeous Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon was tied around that last layer with a bow and the flowers and leaves were tucked all around and adhered with Multipurpose Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves were tipped with a bit of Shimmery Crystal Effects and then dusted with Ice Stampin’ Glitter. Look very close to see all the glitter and bling!
