Stampin' Up! Water Bottle Cover - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Recently I had the opportunity to be part of a fun bingo stamp play date. We had almost 40 stampers who played bingo and stamped their little hearts out all afternoon. We had so much fun! Here is a picture of me and my demonstrator friends, Robin and Christine.

We created fun place settings for each stamper and, as part of that place setting we included bottled water and some Crystal Light Powder. I made the water bottle covers with a little pocket for the Crystal Light.

Everyone got the Gather Together Stamp Set and we used that set to create 3 different make & takes. Of course we all needed water to sustain us through the afternoon! The water bottle covers were created using 3″ x 8-1/2″ strips of both Cajun Craze and Merry Merlot card stock, scored at 3.” The hole for the water bottle top was punched in the 3″ section with a 1-3/4 Circle Punch. The circle that was punched out was saved for the sunflower.

Punch two daisies from Daffodil Delight card stock using the Daisy Punch. Adhere them together with Multipurpose Glue, alternating the petals. To create the sunflower, adhere the punched circle on top of the daisy, also using Multipurpose Glue.

Cut a 3″ x 3″ piece of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper and score one side at 1/2.” Adhere the 1/2″ scored section to the lower edge of the 11″ card stock piece. Fold the card stock up to cover the lower area of the card stock. Staple the left and right top edges of the Designer Series Paper to the left and right sides of the card stock.

On a piece of 3″ x 1″ of Daffodil Delight card stock, stamp the “Gather Together” sentiment in Cajun Craze ink. Adhere the piece over the top of the Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Glue, covering the staples.
