Stampin' Up! Mercury Fall Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Have you used the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate? It’s very cool, that’s the only way I know how to describe it. It’s modern and neat and adds a great touch to anything you put it on!  Today I’ve used it with Smoky Slate card stock and ink to give a different look to a fall card.

The Gather Together Bundle was used to create the large leaves and sentiment. Grapefruit Grove is the orange used on this card. It’s a bit lighter and softer than Pumpkin Pie and blends so well with the Smoky Slate used on the rest of the card. The individual smaller leaves were cut with dies from the Bouquet Bunch die set. A large black lacy label sits underneath everything, cut from the Stitched Label die set.

Thin Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain Ribbon forms circles under the leaves, while Black Scalloped Ribbon was used for the bow. These colors are fabulous for your fall cards.

Give these colors a try ~ I know you’ll love them! They would also work great for a Halloween-themed card 🙂
