Sneak Peek: Forever Blossoms Card!

I’m so excited to bring you a sneak peek of one of my favorite bundles from the upcoming January – June 2020 Mini Catalog which will be available January 3, 2020! This is part of an amazing suite of products that contains two bundles and oodles of other beautiful products! I really think I should say that it is one of my all-time favorite suites because it is SO beautiful. It’s called the Parisian Blossoms Suite and I’ll be using it a lot 🙂

Today’s card is a CASE (copy and share everything) of a card on page 14 of the new Mini Catalog. The colors of this card are Night of Navy and Petal Pink (with a bit of Granny Apple Green!). There are four (4) sneak peeks on this card and they are shown in bold below.

Pretty Paper Cards Step-by-Step Tutorial:

The 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Night of Navy card stock base was scored at 4-1/4.” A large oval was cut in a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Night of Navy card stock panel using the Layering Oval Dies. The panel was then embossed with the new Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder. To create the light shading you see, a White Craft Ink Pad was pressed into the inside of the embossing folder before placing the card stock in the folder and running it through the Big Shot.

A 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of the spectacular new Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper was attached to the back of the embossed piece, then the entire piece was attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The big blossom stamp was stamped in Soft Suede ink on Whisper White card stock and the blossoms and leaves were colored with Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends, and then cut with the coordinating Cherry Blossoms Dies (part of the Forever Blossoms Bundle). It was then attached to the card front as shown with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A very thin die-cut flourish was cut using the other die set in the suite, the Parisian Dies. It was then laid over the blossoms and attached with tiny dots of multipurpose glue.

The sentiments were stamped on scraps of Night of Navy card stock using Versamark Ink. They were then covered with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set. Small scraps of Petal Pink card stock were cut a bit larger than the sentiment pieces and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
