Make a Special Holiday Gift Tag!

Today’s gift tag is special ~ I’ve made one for each of my customers who ordered my October Bonus Class to Go! I love to make pretty tags and cards to thank my customers, and for my Classes to Go I use the stamp set that’s included with the Class. This time it was the For Unto Us Stamp Set.

The tag base is a 2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock punched with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. I love this punch because it’s so easy to make a quick tag.

A 1-3/4″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper was distressed with Paper Snips Scissors and adhered to the tag base with Multipurpose Glue. A 1″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Polished Pink cardstock was distressed and adhered to the center of the tag with the same glue.

The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of Basic White cardstock in Misty Moonlight ink. Then I tore the paper around the sentiment. getting as close as I could to the sentiment. Have you ever used this technique on your sentiments? It’s a fun way to focus on the sentiment 🙂 This piece was adhered on top of the pink strip with Multipurpose Glue.

To finish off the tag, some Metallic Mesh Ribbon was tied in a knot after running it through the hole at the top of the tag. Then the mesh was pulled apart and fluffed a bit 🙂
