Fluffy Summer Butterflies!

Have you ever thought of butterflies as being “fluffy”? That’s how I’m describing these adorable 3D butterfly cards – I just LOVE them!

These cards were made with the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. The actual card you see above opens from the top of the wings. There’s a special die that does this (very cool!).

This is not like any butterfly bundle you’ve ever seen. The dies in this Bundle create amazing 3D butterflies, including these!

The card base is cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock. The wings were stamped with Daffodil Delight using some special “wing” stamps in the set. Another smaller butterfly was die cut from Petunia Pop cardstock and adhered over the daffodil one.

Then a very detailed die was used to cut the top wings from Fresh Freesia cardstock. By the time you layer all these butterflies on top of each other, you have a FLUFFY butterfly! Don’t you love them?
