Today’s card has a fun color combination from this week’s Global Design Project Challenge. I wouldn’t have thought to put these colors together, but now that I’ve used them, I love it!

The pear stamps really show off the colors. There are two stamps that create each pear: one is an outline stamp and the other stamp fills in the pear. This stamp has pretty shading built right in so that when you use it, it automatically makes the white space on the pear and adds darker coloring on the right side. Isn’t that cool?

Behind the pears is a rectangular frame cut with the Sentimental Framing Dies. There are tiny dots in each die that form pretty patterns when you cut the paper.

The leaves attached to the pears were watercolored with Old Olive ink. And the white embossed leaves surrounding the pears were cut with a great die from the Perfectly Pears Die set. I love the detailed embossing on these white leaves!
