The design of this card is based on the Global Design Project Challenge for this week. It’s simple but allows for a lot of personalizationl

My card uses torn Pool Party Two-Tone Cardstock, which I think works well for this design. This cardstock has one side that is a lighter shade of Pool Party, and the other side of the cardstock is a darker shade of the same color. I tore the paper and placed the lighter side down first. Then I put a piece of Darling Duckling cardstock, layered a piece of Basic White cardstock, and then layered the darker Pool Party side of the Two-Tone Cardstock and covered it in the center with some Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

Some Darling Duckling Ribbon was wrapped around the center panel and tied with a bow in the front.

The sentiment is from the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set and is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on Darling Duckling cardstock. I love the torn paper at the top of the card. It almost looks like lace!
