Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is Animal House—and the Pals are here to inspire you with a parade of paw-some card ideas and paper craft creations, all featuring Stampin’ Up! products. At the end of each post, you’ll find links to all the participant blogs so you can “hop” along and gather ideas to make your own projects roar with personality.

Handmade Hello Card made with the Storybook Moments Paper by Stampin' Up! created by Peggy Noe of Pretty Paper Cards #palsbloghop #stampinup #peggynoe

My card has a tiny animal – a little mouse in a cup! Isn’t she darling? We know she’s a girl because she has a cute little pink bow on her head 🙂

The mouse is a die-cut design from the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper has 2 pages of images that you can punch out and use on your projects, like this!

The card has a folded opening that highlights the little mouse. The card base of Flirty Flamingo cardstock is 11″ x 4-1/4″ and it’s scored at 5-1/2″ and 2-3/4.” There’s a layered square on the front that was cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies, with a circle inside that holds the mouse.

Several different designer series papers were used on the panels: on the left is a piece from the Floral Delight paper and on the right side is a piece from the Florals in Bloom paper. I chose them because they highlighted the colors in the teacup 🙂

Around the square are flowers and leaves die-cut with the Beautiful Motifs Dies. The flowers are watercolored with Flirty Flamingo ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and the leaves are cut from a sheet of the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Sweet Blooms Stamp Set. It just seemed like the little mouse would say “hello” as she popped up out of the cup!

We have more inspiration to share, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Pals. Next month we will create beautiful inspiration for a “Ready for Fall” theme and hope you will join us.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
