For today’s card, I used a card kit called “A Bunch of Thanks.” It’s adorable! For the kit, you make darling little cards shaped like floral bouquets wrapped in paper.

Below you can see how the little cards turn out. I love kits because everything you need is right there. Isn’t this a sweet little bouquet?

But I decided to see what else I could do with the kit by using the elements in other ways. I made a more traditional card and my inspiration was this week’s Global Design Project Sketch Challenge.

For my design I started with a Basic White card base topped with a Basic White panel embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder.

A frame was cut from Cloud Cover cardstock using the Everyday Arches Dies. Then one of the floral bouquets was fussy cut out of a card in the kit and placed in the center of the arch. Under the bouquet some Strawberry Slush ribbon was looped to look like a bow, and on top of the bouquet a small bow was tied from the thread in the kit.

One of the sentiments from the kit was stamped and tucked in among the flowers. Some 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls were added all around for bling. It was fun to use these pretty kit elements in a different way!
