This month’s theme is all about Acts of Kindness, Gratitude, and Thanksgiving! The Pals are here to inspire you with heartfelt card ideas and creative paper crafts made with Stampin’ Up! products. My.card is a fun-fold thank you card with an interesting fall color combination. The basic colors used here are Early Espresso and Pretty in Pink. It’s different, right? But when you add in some oranges and yellows, it looks very fall-ish!
The card base is 5-1/2″ x 7,” scored at 4-1/4.” Then there’s a mini card adhered to the inside, and the mini card is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2,” scored at 2-3/4.” The mini card opens in the opposite direction to reveal and area where you can write.
The front of the mini card is decorated with lots of leaves and flowers and pumpkins! The leaves were cut using the Beautiful Motifs Dies from Peach Pie cardstock (brushed with Cajun Craze ink), and a sheet of Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper. There are also some leaves made with the Gathering Moments Bundle. The flowers were created with the Gallery Blooms Bundle, and there are some pumpkins made with the Beautiful Pumpkins Bundle.
It’s fun to combine lots of pretty flowers and leaves and pumpkins! An Irregular Weave bow pulls everything together and adds to the fall theme.
