Ooh, I just love this month’s theme – flowers! For this card I used the flower dies from Heirloom Boutique Dies to cut some Daffodil Delight Two-Tone Cardstock. This cardstock is good to use for flowers because you see 2 different shades of the color on the petals: one shade on the top of the petal and one on the back of the petal.

To give the flowers a 3-D look, after die cutting you crumple each flower into a little ball. Then straighten it out and curl the petals upward and adhere three sizes of flowers together with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The flowers were also splattered with Secret Sea ink.

The black and white patterned paper is the new Artisan Sketched Designer Series Paper. There’s also a layer of Barely Blush cardstock that was cut with the Perennial Postage Dies. And the black elements (leaves & butterfly) are Floral Flight Accents. They look great with this designer paper. The sentiment is from the Fern & Flora Stamp Set.

To finish off the card I used some Moody Palette Glossy Dots and two bows, one from Black Baker’s Twine and one from Linen Thread.
