Color Challenge Guest Designer!

I’m so honored to be the Guest Designer this week for the Global Design Project Color Challenge. The colors for this challenge are gorgeous and I had so much fun designing this card!

These colors are some of my favorites, especially Lemon Lolly and Flirty Flamingo. I chose to make a square card with a bouquet of leaves! The new Simply Leaves Bundle is fun to use with the coordinating punch. It makes creating leaves a snap.

The base of the card is 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ square. Then some Barely Blush Bordered Ribbon was colored with a Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend, and tied in a bow in the center of the card. If I need a ribbon in a color Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have, I just color a light ribbon with a Stampin’ Blend in the color I need!

I stamped each color of cardstock with the dotted leaf outline and punched them out. Then I splattered some of the leaves with White Craft Ink, and others with Coastal Cabana ink. I curled up the tips of the leaves with a bone folder. The leaves were placed in a circle around the ribbon bow to create a bouquet 🙂
