Happy August! Can you even believe it’s August already? Here in Southern California some of the schools start back in mid-August, Yikes!

Stampin' Up! Floral Essence Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Today’s card uses the Floral Essence stamp set. I really like this stamp set because it’s so versatile, you can make lots of different flowers, and each one is gorgeous! Take today’s flower for example, it’s the largest stamp and it has such nice lines.

The colors used on today’s card look surprisingly good together. What do you think?

Stamp 2 of the largest flower on a scratch piece of Whisper White card stock in Daffodil Delight ink. Stamp the centers in Early Espresso ink. Cut out the flowers with Paper Snips and adhere them to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp several of the leaves with Pretty Peacock ink on Whisper White card stock and fussy cut. Tuck them under the flowers and attach them with dots of Multipurpose Glue. Stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on a 3/4″ x 2″ piece of Whisper White card stock and adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
