Have you ever thought of making bookmarks as small Christmas gifts? They are fun and easy to make, and work really well to mark pages in catalogs ~ especially Stampin’ Up! catalogs! 🙂 My customers received these little cuties in the mail with their new Mini Catalogs!

I don’t know about you, but I’m always needing a bookmark. I use them in my paper planner, and in various books I’m reading. It’s nice to have one handy. And I’m sure others would like to have a little bookmark handy also!
For these I’ve used the Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper, but you can use any designer series paper you have on hand, holiday themed or not. The sentiment is one I just love from the Cup of Christmas stamp set. Again, use any sentiment you like. These bookmarks can be given as gifts any time of the year!

The bookmarks are so quick to make. Using the Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer, cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 2″ x 8″ and score at 4.” Cut a piece of the designer series paper 1-3/4″ x 3-3/4.” Fold the bookmark in half using a Bone Folder and adhere the dsp to the front of the base using multipurpose glue.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White card stock in Lovely Lipstick ink. Cut out with a circle die from the Stitched Shapes dies. Adhere to the front of the bookmark with a Stampin’ Dimensional, and you’re done!
These would be great to give to your book club, your reading friends and family, and to slip into a card or a Christmas stocking!
