Today’s cards are birthday cards for guys and girls and use the fabulous Biggest Wish Stamp Set. This set is so much fun! There is a big block-lettered word and you superimpose over it one of the cursive words.
This card for a guy uses two colors: Crumb Cake and Misty Moonlight. The card base is Crumb Cake cardstock, topped with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Misty Moonlight that has been run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder
On top of the embossed piece is a square of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I chose a pattern that has some Misty Moonlight on it, and tried to show as much as possible of the blue.
Below is a video showing you how to make this card:
This design is super versatile. It can be a guy’s card, a girl’s card, or any kind of card! Here’s the version I made for a girl.
This card uses the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder on Soft Succulent cardstock. I’ve been combining Soft Succulent with Fresh Freesia lately. These two colors look so nice together!
The Tailor Made Tag Dies are some of my new favorites! There are two types of stitched tags, and each tag has four sizes. Here I’ve used the largest tag.

Some of the stamp sets and bundles that are retiring on Wednesday have been ones I’ve loved, so in these last few days before their official retirement I’m using them one last time. Today’s stamp set is Pretty Perennials. The dies are fabulous, but I feel like I haven’t fully used this wonderful stamp set.
This card uses lots of the stamps in the set. It’s a slimline card that gives lots of room to stamp the various flowers and leaves! I’ve used some colors that blend so beautifully together.
I have so loved the bit “happy” stamp! Here it’s stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink, so it stands out above all the pretty flowers. Just snip around the letters and pop it up on dimensionals to make it stand out.
For the envelope I stamped some of the smaller flowers, to give a preview of the card that’s inside!
The slimline card is 8-1/2″ x 8″ scored at 4,” and it fits in a standard legal envelope.
The Hey, Birthday Chick Bundle is so adorable, I just love it! It’s a fun, whimsical set with coordinating dies.
I’m featuring this bundle today because it will only be at this bundle price of $43 until May 3rd. After that, each of these items (stamp set and dies) will be sold separately ~ that means, no 10% off. 🙁 So, if you were thinking of getting this bundle, grab it before May 3rd!
This one chick with the balloon tied to her “tail” is too cute! I’ve decided it is a “she.” The card base is covered with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of In Color Designer Series Paper in Bumblebee, A 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock was then adhered to the left side of the card front with Multipurpose Glue.
A 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the chick stamp on the lower portion of the Basic White piece in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. She was colored in with Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Real Red and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. The balloon was colored in with Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends.
Stamp the sentiment and then adhere the Basic White panel to the Night of Navy panel as shown, using Multipurpose Glue, and your card is done! Quick and easy!
I love the way she’s leaning on her arms ~ Ir’s so cute! She’s wishing happy birthday to everyone!
Only -4- More Days to Take Advantage of the Retiring Sale!
Today I want to show you an amazing bundle from the new catalog: the Pansy Patch Bundle! I have barely begun to explore all that it can do!
These are Distinktive Stamps which means the stamps give shading in ways that other stamps don’t. For example, the leaves above were stamped completely in the beautiful new color Soft Succulent. Doesn’t it look like the leaves were stamped in two colors? That’s the result of stamping with Distinktive Stamps!
The Basic White piece uses the new Scalloped Contour Dies. I LOVE these dies! Here the edges are scalloped and there is stitching behind the scallops, isn’t that great? The pansy was stamped in Fresh Freesia, one of the new In Colors. And the background piece is Bumblebee cardstock embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
The new 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog is available beginning May 4th! If you don’t have a copy of the catalog yet, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll pop one in the mail to you! And if you do have the catalog already, start making your wish list!
Check out the retiring items: Available until May 3rd
The Sweet Ice Cream Bundle is just adorable! I absolutely LOVE it! Birthdays and ice cream just go together, don’t they?
The background paper here is the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper, and it’s too cute!
Last week I had a wonderful day with my college girlfriends, Linda and Margie. We met for lunch and then made ice cream cards!! Their cards are darling and I want you to see them below:
They used different sheets of this pretty Ice Cream Corner paper. The card below used the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch to make a triple ice cream cone!!
And this card uses another sheet of the paper that features creamsicles. It also sets the paper at angles with a piece of Highland Heather cardstock, and uses some Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon.

There’s so much I want to show you in this fun card. It has some retiring items and some items that are carrying over, and they all combine for a very “happy” card!
This card uses the beautiful retiring Purple Posy card stock. There is a card base, and then a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Watch the video below to learn how to create this card!
The Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper is so much fun! It’s retiring soon so I really wanted to use it. I’ve fussy cut the ice cream cones (there’s one inside, and one on the envelope) so that they appear all over the card 🙂
The sentiment is from the retiring Pretty Perennials stamp set. It was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink and fussy cut. It is adhered on a 3-3/4″ x 1″ strip of the Ice Cream Corner paper, and both are secured with Stampin’ Dimensionals on top of some sweet Blushing Bride Twine.
A few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered about for some bling 🙂
