Do you need an easy holiday card? Well this is it! I like it because it doesn’t look easy at all, in fact, it looks striking in Real Red and Whisper White. Candy cane colors, right? The video below will demonstrate how YOU can make this card!
Here’s the Frosted Foliage Bundle that you will need to create this card:
The sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The color combination coordinates beautifully with the rest of the card.
This particular “frame” die is really versatile. You could easily adhere a small photo to the front of it. That would make a very special holiday card!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hope you’re getting some good ideas for your own cards!

Surprisingly, the designer series paper used here is the Dinoroar dsp. There are dinosaurs one one side of this paper 🙂 but the back side is a wonderful mix of leaves and berries ~ so nice for a holiday card!
The Lovely Lipstick card base is topped with two 3-3/4″ x 5″ pieces of paper set at angles. One piece is Old Olive card stock, and the other is Dinoroar Designer Series Paper.
A Shimmery White Stitched Label Die was was watercolored with Lovely Lipstick ink and an Aqua Painter. This makes a nice background for the sentiment and a few leaves. Behind the label some Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain Ribbon was folded back and forth and adhered to the back of the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A piece of Vellum was cut using the Layering Circles Dies and tucked behind the label.
The front of the label was topped with the “comfort & joy” sentiment from the Cups of Christmas stamp set! The stamp was heat embossed in Whisper White embossing powder and then fussy cut with Paper Snips. A few leaves were cut using the Christmas Cardinal Dies.

Advent is the season before Christmas, specifically, the four Sundays before Christmas. I’ve discovered that it’s nice to keep an Advent Journal, or a record of prayers and thoughts during the Advent season. This year I decided to create my own journal using the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Journal.
A layer of Shimmery White card stock was stamped with the crown stamp from the Wish for it All stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink, and then watercolored using an Aqua Painter to spread the ink. After this piece was completely dry, it was adhered to the cover of the Pressed Petal Journal. The All Around Wreath Dies were used to cut two wreaths, one from Gold Foil and one from Pretty Peacock card stock; then they were adhered to the watercolored piece, offsetting one from another. A piece of Gold Foil was stamped with the crown stamp in Versamark ink, and then sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder and heated. It was then cut out with the Doily Wishes Dies.
A few leaves were cut from Gold Glimmer Paper using the Flourish Dies. These are some of my favorite leaf dies 🙂 The leaves were adhered to the lower right side of the wreaths with Multipurpose Glue, and the crown was adhered on the left side using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from an older retired set in my personal collection. It was gold heat embossed on a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock and then cut with a banner die from the Doily Wishes Dies and sponged with some Golden Glitz Delicata ink. A piece of Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon was wrapped around the cover of the journal and tied in a bow.
I’m really looking forward to using my journal over the Advent season! Why don’t you make one too? Send me a picture of your journal, I’d love to see what you create!!
Today’s cards are classic with the black and white buffalo checks. Buffalo checks are SO popular right now, and Stampin’ Up! has got you covered. The Buffalo Check Stamp is a wonderful background stamp and it gives you the freedom to create the checks in any color you like! Buffalo checks are a great background for almost anything else you want to do!
For this card, begin with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White card base, scored at 4-1/4.” Stamp a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White card stock with the Buffalo Stamp and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Tie some Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the Buffalo Check piece and tie on the front in a pretty bow.
Today I’m using an image from the Christmastime is Here Designer Series Paper. It looks like a bouquet of roses! The cluster of roses was fussy cut using Paper Snips and raised up on Stampin’ Dimensionals above a piece of Vellum punched out with the Starburst Punch.
The “Thank You” sentiment is from the Parcels & Petals Cling Stamp Set. Stamp in Cherry Cobbler ink and cut out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Two new Gold Glitter Enamel Dots were added for a bit of bling! 🙂

The Stampin’ Up! Gold Mini Pizza Boxes from the Holiday Catalog are sooooooo darling! First of all, how cute is a mini pizza box? And then to make it gold? It’s over the top cute! These boxes are food safe (perfect for cookies and brownies!) and they are easy to decorate. I’ll be using them to wrap quite a few of my gifts this year!
Today’s box has been decorated using a belly band that goes around the box. I like to use a belly band for wrapping because it can slide off for easy opening while keeping the pretty decorations intact. For this box the belly band is a 12″ x 2″ wide strip of Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper. Wrap the strip around the box and secure one edge of the paper to the other with a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the top of the box. Then wrap around a 12″ piece of 1/2″ Very Vanilla and Copper Classic Weave Ribbon that has the words “Merry Christmas” printed on it, gluing the ends together on the top of the box.
Cut a piece of Real Red card stock with the large label die from the Stitched Label Dies. Adhere over the belly band using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut three Whisper White snowflakes using the dies from the Seasonal Layers Dies and adhere on top of the label using Multipurpose Glue. Cut two sets of leaves from Gold Glimmer Paper using the Flourish Dies. Adhere with dots of Multipurpose Glue to the center of the label as shown.
Pretty Pointer: When cutting glimmer paper with dies, turn the paper upside down with the glimmer portion on the bottom. Then set the die on the back side of the paper and cut.
Cut the little dear from Gold Foil using the smallest of the Detailed Deer Dies. Adhere over the glimmer leaves using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a red rhinestone either as an eye, or as a nose for the cute little deer 🙂
The Christmas Rose stamp set is so pretty. I love roses; my craft room looks out on a small rose garden and it inspires me constantly. I’m so excited that Stampin’ Up! has come out with this spectacular rose stamp and coordinating dies and more, all part of the NEW Christmastime is Here Suite available today!
There are many ways to use this stamp set…watercoloring, heat embossing, watercolor pencils, and Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers! That’s the way I’ve colored the rose here. Lovely Lipstick Blends, both dark and light, give this rose it’s shading. And Soft Sea Foam Blends have added color to the leaves.
